PRACTICUM TRAINEE

Yang holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and works under the supervision of Dr. Kwon (PSY33823), providing therapy and psychological testing for individuals of all age groups. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School (TCS).

Yang has a background in working with adults and adolescents in a psychiatric hospital within both outpatient and inpatient settings. She also has experience assisting substance abuse populations in a residential treatment facility. Her clinical background extends to supporting clients in acute crises and those in hospice care.

Yang's professional interests lie in aiding immigrant individuals and families through the acculturation process, as well as working with individuals affected by trauma. She adopts a client-centered approach, ensuring that clients feel warmth and empathy while navigating challenging experiences. Furthermore, she is proficient in providing psychological services in Mandarin.
