PRACTICUM TRAINEE

Sofia works under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Nozaki (PSY35140), performing psychological testing and providing therapy to clients of all ages. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles and is currently pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. 

Sofia has received experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician in which she provided Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. She is also enthusiastic about helping others dealing with mental health issues related to anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, and depression. Sofia is passionate about providing a safe space for individuals to express themselves openly by demonstrating genuine care and compassion.
