Dr. Hernandez is a postdoctoral registered psychological associate  (PSB94027531) working under the supervision of Dr. Nicole Lightman (PSY28608). She earned her doctorate degree on applied clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, her masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from National University, and her Bachelors degree in psychology and social behavior from the University of California, Irvine. She enjoys helping people in all aspects of life and has over 15 years of experience as an experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She also has a background working with addiction, trauma, and PTSD where she has used cognitive behavioral therapy, REBT and developed person-focused strategies to help individuals overcome addiction and reduce negative habits as well as reduce stress and anxiety.

Dr. Hernandez strives to continue to help individuals find understanding and empowerment within themselves to create the cognitive and behavioral changes necessary to live a more successful, joyful, and fulfilling life. She also wants to assist with the process by providing the tools and education necessary for people to achieve their highest potential. Dr. Hernandez provides therapy to individuals of all ages as well as comprehensive psychological, psycho-educational, and developmental testing for the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and learning disabilities.
