PRACTICUM TRAINEE

Madison works under the supervision of Dr. Galya Cohen (PSY33946), performing therapy and psychological testing for clients of all ages. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Services at California State University, Fullerton. She is pursuing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School.

Madison has eight years of experience working in both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse programs in which she has served clients with substance use disorders, trauma histories, and various co-occurring disorders. She has experience managing programs, providing counseling services, and administering multi-dimensional assessments to determine the needs of individuals. Additionally, she has volunteered at women’s shelters and led experiential, theme-oriented groups for college students exploring life choices and struggle for personal autonomy.   

Madison is passionate about walking alongside patients in the deeper work that can lead to restorative healing. Her goal is to create a safe place for people to feel seen and heard, and she holds a high regard for authenticity. She feels honored to take part in the exploration process of each individual’s journey.
