Jerome is a registered psychological associate (PSB94027650) working under the supervision of Dr. Samira Vafadar (PSY28213) doing therapy with individuals and couples.

Jerome received his bachelor’s degree degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in 1997. He served in the Peace Corps as a Volunteer from 1997-99, where he served in Cameroon. He taught English in Japan from 1999-2005. In 2006, he joined the Navy, serving as a Corpsman working in the field of Navy Medicine. He received his MA in International Psychology focusing on trauma and culture from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2019. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Applied Clinical Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is also in the Mater’s program in Clinical Psychopharmacology. Areas of specialization include trauma, culture, and medical psychology. He is proficient in French and Japanese.
