Ana Bunta, BA

PRACTICUM TRAINEE

Ana works under the supervision of Dr. Lightman (PSY28608), performing therapy and psychological testing for clients of all ages. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Dayton. She is pursuing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. 

Ana has experience working with psychological assessments under the supervision of psychologists. She has provided testing to preschool-age children through programs such as Preschool Promise, a non-profit organization aimed at helping ethnic and racial minority populations and families from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. She enjoyed working with children and using assessments to help them succeed in future endeavors.

Ana is passionate about combating the stigma against mental illness and providing a safe, honest, and judgment-free space for her clients. She strives to provide care to underserved populations, such as clients of diverse backgrounds and ages, and strongly believes in providing care and empathy to anyone she meets. She believes the best results and improvements happen when the client and clinician collaborate and share a positive therapeutic relationship while striving towards a mutual goal. She looks forward to learning more, improving her therapeutic skills, and developing positive client relationships.
